ABUJA – Former Military Head of State, Gen. Abudusalami Abubakar
Thursday held a closed door meeting with President Muhammadu Buhari.
The meeting which held in the president’s office in the presidential
villa lasted for about 30 minutes upon the arrival of the former Head of
State at about 3:30.
Abubakar did not however speak to Journalists after the meeting as it
was said to be a private meeting between him and the president.
It was not known whether the visit of Abdusalami who is the Chairman
of the National Peace Committee, set up by former president Goodluck
Jonathan to midwife a peaceful 2015 general election had the trappings
of the Committee’s assignment.
